Low Carb Celeriac Chips – Great Substitute for Potato Chips 0 361

Celeriac chips are a great substitute for potato chips and are easy to make at home. Don’t be put off by the looks of celeriac root. I have to admit it looks quite ugly. I was reluctant to try it, but now I’m happy I did. My fear was that it was going to taste like celery and I am not a big fan cooked celery. The results were impressive! It tasted really good, almost like potato chips. Give it a try and you will see for yourself.

Ingredients
  • 350 g (12 oz) Celeriac root
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2-3 TBSP olive oil
  • Sea salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200 C (400 F)
  2. Peel celeriac root and cut into chunky chips
  3. Place into dish and add spices, salt and oil
  4. Mix everything thoroughly
  5. Place on the baking tray and cook for about 30 minutes
