This low carb fried cabbage with peppers recipe could easily be added as a side dish to any meat or chicken dish. It’s usually takes some time to cook but I think it’s really good to have. Make it in advance and keep in the fridge for a few days.

Serves: 4
  • 300 g shredded cabbage
  • 100 g mixed peppers cut into strips
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • salt pepper to taste
  • oil for frying
  1. Heat oil in the large deep skillet or stockpot
  2. Add cabbage and cook and stir for about 10 min
  3. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for about 20 min
  5. Stir in peppers and continue simmer for 10-15 min until ready
