I love prawn salad very much. Something about it feels very healthy. This recipe variation of my usual low carb prawn salad. Spices really make a difference here. You should try this one and let me know what you think?

Low Carb Spicy Prawns Salad

  • 350-400 g large prawns
  • ½ large cucumber
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 100 g iceberg lettuce
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 2 TBS lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp taco spices
  • 1 TBSP dark soy sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne or chilli powder
  • oil for frying
  1. Cut vegetables way you like and combine them in big bowl
  2. Season with salt and lemon juice
  3. Leave on the side
  4. Prepare prawns
  5. In large skillet heat oil and add prawns
  6. Cook prawns from both sides until almost ready
  7. Add soy sauce, spices, garlic
  8. Simmer for a minute to let prawns to absorb flavours
  9. Dish out salad into big plates
  10. Place prawns and boiled eggs on the top
  11. Use juice from the skillet as dressing
  12. Enjoy!
