Low Carb Beef Salad – Spicy Version
This spicy low carb beef salad will be a good addition to your lunch menu. It’s spicy and crunchy at the same time and it will satisfy your hunger. This salad is easy and nutritious dish which also is low carb, gluten free and keto friendly. I tried to make it with slow cooked beef and it worked very well too.
Ingredients:
- 350-400 g beef sirloin steak
- ½ large english cucumber
- 1 red bell pepper
- ½ red onion
- 1 TBSP dark soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 chilli pepper
- 1 tsp taco spices
- 1 TBSP lemon or lime juice
- 2 TBSP mayonnaise
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Instructions for Low Carb Beef Salad:
- Slice beef into thin strips
- Heat oil in the skillet and saute garlic and chilli pepper
- Add beef and stir-fry until cooked as desired (when almost ready add taco spicesand salt)
- Remove beef from pan
- Mix with red pepper, onions and cucumber
- For dressing!
- Combine mayonnaise, soy sauce and lemon juice
- Drizzle dressing over salad or mix everything together
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
