Low Carb Psyllium Husks Tortillas
This recipe for low carb tortillas requires some good effort, but them are really good. I used them in a few recipes for example ground beef quesadillas. Trick to do it right to work fast with a dough before it cool down completely and becomes quite hard and difficult to work with.

Low Carb Psyllium Husks Tortillas
These Low Carb Psyllium Husks Tortillas will be staple in your diet
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut flour
- 4 Tbsp. psyllium husk powder
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder optional
- 2 cups hot water
Instructions
- Mix all dry ingredients in the bowl
- Add softened butter and mix thoroughly
- Pour hot water over your mixture and stir with a spoon until all ingredients are well incorporated
- Shape dough into a log shape. Cut into 8 equal parts.
- Grease skillet or frying pan lightly with butter or coconut oil over heat to medium heat.
- Shape each part into a ball
- On a sheet of parchment paper roll out each ball as well as you can.
- If sticky, use a piece of parchment paper on top of the dough, as well. If the dough tears, it is easily fixed.
- Get it spread out evenly. Don’t worry how it looks.
- Using medium sized pan lid or plate cut perfectly round tortillas
- Keep extra dough and use for extra tortillas
- Cook on the skillet until bottom begins to brown.
- Carefully flip and cook other side
- Repeat for each tortilla
