
This little low carb oopsie breads with almost zero carbs are great addition to your breakfast or lunch. Make sandwiches, burger buns or even hot dog buns. Secret here is whisking egg whites until very stiff and folding them gently to egg yolks and cream cheese mixture. Maybe I was lucky but I got perfect oopsie breads from first attempt.
- 3 eggs
- 100 g cream cheese
- 1 pinch salt
- ½ tablespoon ground psyllium husk powder (optional)
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- Separate the eggs
- Whisk egg whites with salt until very stiff
- Mix egg yolks with cream cheese, psyllium husks and baking powder
- Gently fold egg whites to egg yolks cream cheese mix
- Put 9 small to medium sized breads on a baking tray
- Bake at 160C for about 25 minutes until golden brown
